George Michael is the hugely successful former frontman of the pop duo Wham!

George has also seen his fair share of failure over the year, including numerous drug incidents, not to mention his famous dirty dance moves inside a public restroom.

George's latest hobby seems to be plastic surgery, and from the looks of the before and after nose job pics, its a bad habit.


He decided to take his slightly large god given nose, and almost completely reconstruct it, by narrowing the width and basically shearing off his nostrils.

Whatever gets you through the night, right Georgie?

Shooting Photographs in RAW Format

Dull, the picture was directly converted from RAW to JPEG without retouches, the exact one if it were directly taken in JPEG on my camera.

If you are (or are aspiring to be) a photography enthusiast who owns (or is planning to buy) either a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera or a high-end consumer digital compact one and has yet to set it to take pictures in the RAW format, you are strongly advised to do so rather simply choose JPEG as your primary format!

Nikon Capture NX 2 magic! The picture is netter when converted from RAW to JPEG with only after a few manupilation in NX 2.

Look at the two pictures above, the top one is directly convert from a RAW format without retouches which would be the exact same one if my Nikon D90 camera was set to photograph in a JPEG. It is so dull as there is much dark portion and a distracting orange dot. After a few retouches on the RAW image by using a trial version of Nikon's awards-winning Capture NX 2 software, a much more appealing version is immediately obtained. RAW pictures can retain as many details as a DSLR can as long as they are not overexposured, compared to JPEG pictures snapped under the same condition

There are already many books and magazine articles on the market addressing the advantages of RAW files, here don't repeat again. Go to have one, they are totally worth of a reading.

Lance Bass Botched Nose Job

Feast your precious eyes on this picture of Lance Bass, former member of the pop group NSYNC, turned Hollywood pretty boy.

Some plastic surgery operations simply baffle me, and this is one of them.

Lance Bass seemed to have a perfectly good looking nose before the operation, but despite that, he choose to proceed with the nose job and the results look to be very disappointing.

His new nose is drastically smaller, much too small for the size of his head, making him look like a seedy weaselly junkie of sorts.

From the looks of the before and after picture, this was clearly a botched nose job.

Malaysia-based AirAsia is the most successful low cost carrier in Asia (or probably also in the world). The no-frills airlines launched in 2001 usually uses the bright red as the official color for its airplanes. Look its subsidiary AirAsiaX's Airbus A330-330 above which was bound as Flight D7 2602 to Hangzhou from Kuala Lumpur LCCT on August 31 2009.

Occasionally, AirAsia painted its airplanes for their sponsored sports teams like Manchester United, F1 Williams and Oaklands Raiders. The following picture shows an AirAsia Airbus A320 airplane was sprayed for Tourism Malaysia with its tail and engines painted to the turquoise color. It was taken when I was on the way of going to board the afore-mentioned Flight D7 2602 that day.

Gisele Bundchen & Tom Brady Welcome a Baby Boy

Gisele Bundchen, the 29-year-old Brazilian supermodel, has given birth to a baby boy on Tuesday night, People reported.

The baby is the first child of Gisele and her NFL player husband Tom Brady. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles last February. Tom already has a 2-year-old son with actress Bridget Moynahan from a previous relationship.

Further details of the birth and the baby's name haven't been released.

Anyway,congrats to Gisele Bündchen & Tom Brady!

Kula Lumpur Twin Towers Taken Using Nikon D90 & Tokina AT-X 116 Pro AF11-16mm/F2.8 DX Lens

Having been to Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur for so many times, I never could photograph its spectacular Twin Towers in a whole just because of the lack of the appropriate lense. Recently I bought an ultra wide angle lenses from the third-party lenses manufacturer Tokina. I fulfilled my dream by using Tokina's AT-X Pro 11-16mm/F2.8 DX lenses and Nikon's prosumer DSLR camera D90 when going to Malaysia's General Department of Immigration for a visa application.
